Saint Vincent de Paul Society

"Let your light shine before men in order that they may see your good works and give glory to our Father in heaven." – Mt 5:16

Our Mission:
The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

How do we serve the poor in the parish?
The St Vincent de Paul Society's members and volunteers reach out to the most vulnerable in our community. Members and volunteers assist people in need and do not discriminate against cultural, religious or political beliefs. Some of our activities are:
•    Feeding the hungry through weekly soup kitchens,
•    Provide food parcels for needy families,
•    Support learners with uniform and fees,
•    Support destitute families with basic needs like beds and other furniture,
•    Provide clothes and bedding to poor families.

How can I help?
Yes, you can help! If possible, donate goods, food or money to the SVDP by bringing it to the church and handing it to one of the SVDP members. Monetary donations may be directly deposited into the SVDP account listed below:
